Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Although Jus'nother Dork Thuwed has a very uncertain temper—one never knows when he might explode in sudden anger—he is also very generous and helpful to all. Most other dragons just weather and forgive his sudden flares of temper knowing that under it all he is a most kindly dragon friend always ready to offer a helping hand. For his part, the flares of temper are always short-lived and quickly forgotten. He would just be confused if someone reminded him of one or had hurt feelings over it.
