Sunset Dragons are closely related to sunrise dragons. However, their behaviors differ greatly. Sunset Dragons generally live alone or in small packs. They are more active in the evening, hunting and performing all of their daily tasks as the sun sets.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Grigor is looked at by the older dragons as a threat. They spread rumors that Grigor refuses to do anything, and that he trips old grannies. These rumors could not be any further from the truth. Grigor is the mate of Deupheu, and it is quite well, as both are up only at night. Grigor was abandoned as a hatchling because he was supposed to be a sunrise dragons, but hatched later in the day. Grigor was young around Aztec times, and he has a small, stone dagger shoved thru the end of his tail. He claims it only hurts when you pull it, and since it's 500 years old, he treats it like he shoved it through himself. By swinging his tail around, the dagger can hurt many other things around him.
