Lumina Dragons received their names from their highly reflective scales, which—at times—seem to glow. They are vain, always strutting about and preening incessantly; if one of their scales has so much as a scratch or a defect, they’ll remove it. Luckily, their scales grow back quickly, and each new growth is more beautiful than the last. These narcissistic dragons live in small groups and prefer to surround themselves with beauty. The females guard their territory and eggs while the males search for vegetation to eat.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. LuminaPrince is a Lumina Dragon who feels responsible for his cave. He wants to be seen as a mentor and a good example. He tries to guide other dragons to live good lives and help one another. LuminaPrince is kind and caring, and he is always there to help a dragon in need. He spends a lot of time trying to help StormyCitrineGoldfish, but she doesn't want to be helped. He works with her family, but they have almost reached the end of their rope. LuminaPrince also spends a lot of time with hatchlings in his cave, teaching them how to be good dragons.
