White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Snou may be a pacifist, but he has absolutely no sense of humor. He takes things literally all the time, resulting in his lack of popularity. It's almost impossible to hold a conversation with him unless you're his mate, Greart, or one of his children, as you can't use an idiom around him. He is also rather nosy, much to the displeasure of others. Once he's started to participate in something, he doesn't back out. Most watch out for him, and several of Thornstar's dragons have taken to the saying 'snou,' which means that you're taking something too seriously.

His staff is made of rock maple, which is ironically known for being an extremely hard wood.
