Magma Dragons are capable of withstanding the intense temperatures of their element. They live in volcanic regions, their bodies coated in the red hot magma which clings to their scales. They must leave the lava fields in order to hunt, although they require surprisingly little food to sustain their lumbering mass.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Ball of Hot Air had a very stressful experience while she was a hatchling in Lagie's caves. A very strange rather pink egg arrived, and to Ball of Hot Air's horror, it floated. The egg never touched the ground, ever. Ball of Hot Air could not understand why and refused to consider it might actually be a dragon egg. Even worse, was the day she slipped and fell on the wretched thing and found herself rising off the ground, calling piteously for the other hatchlings to come save her. Thankfully, a nearby clutch of cavern lurkers came to Ball of Hot Air's rescue, bringing her safely to the ground. Ball of Hot Air stayed well away from the so-called egg after that and was very relieved when it was teleported away from the caves altogether. Now, as a grown dragon, she stays well away from the hatcheries just in case another one of those oddball eggs arrives. She'd really rather not know.
