Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It shrieks for food everytime you get close.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Naitohanta's breed makes it very easy for her to see at night. She believes it is even easier to see in the dark than it is to see in the light of day. This is the time that she enjoys flying around, hunting for small creatures and taking down her prey with a screeching call. Sadly, her white belly sometimes gives away her position to what she happens to be hunt, but she is slowly learning to hide it when she is on the prowl.

Her name means 'Night Hunter'.
