Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It won’t leave other dragons alone.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Cerritus is often referred to as a 'little terror'. She is well deserving of that title, as she is easily the most mischievous out of the three Misfit Pygmies. Whereas the other two know to limit their actions, Cerritus is completely oblivious to the fact that others find her actions very irritating. She likes to target the older dragons, making Impeditus' job as a hatchling guardian an utter nightmare. Cerritus does however learn from her actions—she now knows to never play a prank on the Herachus leader Primiserius.

Cerritus' favourite target is Renidens. Renidens is blind and Cerritus uses that to her advantage, tickling Renidens' nose with a feather and tricking him into thinking it's a fly, throwing her voice to disorientate the blind dragon, even misleading him into a wall. Cerritus has got into trouble multiple times for harassing a disabled member, but she continues to do it, albeit more gently than she would like.
