Dorsal Dragons are so named because they have large fins along their backs that can be raised and lowered at will. They use these fins to regulate body temperature; they raise them to cool off when they become overheated. The bright colors on the fins double as a means of attracting mates.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Glowing red eyes, sharp and intense as hot cinders, often hide Gin's true nature. With pitch black scales starkly contrasting her bloody sails, many of the younger, more sensitive dragons try to steer clear of her. The aggressive ones challenge her, believing she will fight them.

Truth be told, Gin is not a fighter. Her quiet demeanour often alludes to other dragons that she is, but she actually is cautious and gentle. She never says anything that she doesn't have to and refrains from being cruel to even the rudest dragons.

Her half-hearted behaviours have almost gotten her killed before along with rumors spreading that her parents were Izdati, which was far from the truth.

Gin is, in fact, fairly artistic. She often burns the ground with scenes and sights she has seen in her days of roaming the forest. The Elder Clan often pay this wanderer hefty sums for decorating their caves.
