Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Ban's name means "graciousness." Her altruistic personality and soft voice hide a very insecure and oftentimes tense dragon. She tries to keep her feelings leashed, but some dragons just know how to step on a raw nerve. She is very good at getting her anger under control, but she tries not to let it get to even that point. Overall, she is kind-hearted and really doesn't like to get involved in any fights. Ban loves to collect bits of moonstone.
