Hellfire Wyverns are so named for their foul tempers and fiery visages. Their social structure places all females above all males, due to superior physical characteristics and violent dispositions. Forced subservience of the males causes them to become vicious, petty, antisocial, and passive-aggressive compared to the aggressive and social females. However, orphaned hatchlings raised by foster parents of another species can develop surprisingly even tempers and mellow dispositions, proving that their defining unpleasant nature is, in fact, a learned behavior.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Invincible, this dragon stands guard over this scroll.  She has vowed to keep it safe and sound, scaring off other dragons or egg-seekers.  She is very vicious when on duty, but is slightly more friendly to those she knows and trusts to be around her property.  She has been playfully nicknamed, 'Star,' due to her lineage.  She isn't fond of it, but she will tolerate the name.  She enjoys her owner's company, but other dragons simply annoy her, so she has taught them to keep clear.  She has never had children of her own, and probably never will, but sometimes she will surrogate those that end up near her, protecting them along with the scroll, but if it takes her attention away from her real job, she will disown the egg and leave it with others of it's breed.  Even though this is true, she can't stand hatchlings at all so as soon as one of her foster eggs hatch, she scares it off.  She takes great pride in her status as guard and does her job to the best of her ability.
