It was previously believed that purple dragons were exclusively female, but this is not the case. Recent environmental shifts have revealed the existence of both genders of this breed. Female behavior is well known; they are primarily herbivores but will eat meat during mating season. On the other hand, very little is known about the behavior and habits of male purple dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. While she was walking through the forest Pinyin Jiu found a ragdoll lying in the dirt. After carefully washing the doll, Pinyin decided to return the doll to its owner, although she did not know whom that was. After several months of searching, using only the scent left on the doll, Pinyin was finally able to locate the ragdoll's owner, a young girl who lived with her father and several brothers. Overjoyed at finally having her toy back and finally having some female company, the child often invites Pinyin to come play with her whenever she has the time.
