Magi Dragons are, as their name suggests, primarily magic users. They rarely use physical forms of attack. They eat anything they can kill, which is almost everything. They won’t kill unprovoked except when hunting, although they may kill humans if in danger. Their strong magic makes them one of the most feared breeds of dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Arath is a very solitary creature, majestic and dignified, graceful and powerful, as well as mannerly when need be. His favorite possessions include crystals of all colors, which he spends endless hours ordering, reordering, and admiring, but in particular he favors those of the clear variety; he finds that these take on a pleasing glow when held in the right way, and Eleria often leaves them as presents for him. He loves to learn; facts, stories, or spells, by word of mouth or by the books that Eleria takes the time to read him, the material or medium makes no difference to his insatiable brain. Out of sheer vanity, he prefers to be called by his last name of Arath, which he feels better represents the nobility and strength he fancies himself to have.
