Horse Dragons have equine-shaped bodies and hooves instead of claws, which allow them to be fast runners. They specialize in running takeoffs, which are quicker than taking off from a stand-still. Horse dragons are able to stalk their prey from the ground then quickly execute an aerial attack for the kill.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Purpurna is a very care-free dragon, very social, but a tad foolish and somewhat of a clown.

She spends most of her time wandering or mingling with others.  When she isn't exploring the Regis Preaclarus or chatting, she's racing other dragons.

She races purely for sport, she isn't the fastest dragon there is and knows it, and doesn't mind one way or the other who wins, as long as the race was a challenge and she has fun.

Purpurna is also always up to a challenge; taking bets despite them being dangerous.  This has earned her a reputation of having a death wish.

Her friends have a running bet to see who can come up with something so dangerous that she will refuse to attempt it, but none of them have succeeded.
