Magma Dragons are capable of withstanding the intense temperatures of their element. They live in volcanic regions, their bodies coated in the red hot magma which clings to their scales. They must leave the lava fields in order to hunt, although they require surprisingly little food to sustain their lumbering mass.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Roy is an upstanding and idealistic young dragon who shows a desire to help support those around him. He would prefer to avoid any bloodshed, and he keeps a firm resolve to see any violent conflict through to a peaceful ending. Despite his inexperience in leadership, Roy continues to work on growing his abilities and gaining the trust of other dragons. He is highly perceptive and cunning, young as he is, and does his best to keep calm in any given situation.

Committed as he is to protecting dragons in need and fighting for his ideas when necessary, he demonstrates a strong sense of empathy. Roy believes that sacrificing other dragons to win is a hollow victory. He also holds the belief that if he is to understand others fully, he must face their hardships.

Roy values his family and friendship very highly, remaining loyal to them until the end. Confident as he seems, he doubts his abilities quite a lot, hiding this behind a warm front and hiding any negativity.
