Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It’s very light and enjoys bouncing all around.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Poor Air Grazer is constantly teased by the other hatchlings in her cave. They make fun of her bloated belly, and often use her as a ball, kicking her back and forth with their heads and tails. She is too slow to escape them, and spends most of her time in hiding. Her only friend is Rotture di Angelo, a white, who appreciates Grazers jokes.
