Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. This hatchling seems to be filled with a fell, inner flame.

And look! Its wings have grown, and it’s become bigger, more aggressive, and much hotter.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Hawkfrost is a "Daddy's girl" yet still has her mom's short temper. She is sweet if you get to her heart and all the boys know that. The boy matured hatchlings always adore her and each has a goal of getting her heart. The boy she adores is the shy, deaf, electric frozen, Lightningheart. Lightningheart ignores Hawkfrost because he loves her, but believes she is taking pity on him to much. The other dragons say that she doesn't deserve a dragon that cares to much about himself but she ignores them.
