And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing. It’s learned to use its new wings quickly and you now have a hard time keeping it on the ground.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Despite her parents personalities, Innya Elysia is a kind, loving and shy hatchling. She stays by her mother's side most of the time, unless she's playing with the other hatchlings or being watched over by Girtha. It's very surprising how sweet she is, considering the dysfunctional relationship she has with her parents. While her mother Nyla is strict and constantly yelling at her for the smallest things, her father Netael completely denies her for not being a dark green dragon like him. Even with these hardships, she maintains a stable and healthy lifestyle. Innya is especially close to the red dragon hatchling Sagira, given she is seen as the "big sister" of the hatchlings and is strong physically as well as personality-wise. Since Innya has difficult relations with her parents, she greatly admires Sagira and tends to stick by her side to strengthen her own confidence and Sagira is perfectly willing to help.
