Flamingo Wyverns are so named for their resemblance to the tropical birds with whom they often share territory. Their most striking feature is the bony black crest over their faces and snouts, larger in males, aiding both in digging up food and protection when fighting for mates. Males are duller in color than females due to their habit of wandering from nest to nest and picking from less algae-rich feeding grounds.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Flamingo was named after his breed- a Flamingo wyvern. He envies the other dragons living with him because of their original, creative names. But every so often Harbor is uninspired, giving her newborn hatchlings dull old boring names. Unfortunately, Flamingo and his adopted brother, Pinky (how humiliating!) got stuck with their one word, tedious names. There was nothing either Flamingo or Pinky could do about this, which greatly frustrates Flamingo. He's turned against all of his cavemates besides Pinky, only occasionally warming up to a female to breed or to Harbor to accept a tidbit of food or some other silly, pathetic offering. He lives a low life, preferring to stay out of view..
