Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Vergon is an energetic gray dragon, often noted for his battle style and flying abilities. Many dragons have challenged Vergon to a spar and come back scorched from his signature lightning attacks. But Vergon refuses to fight a dragon of lower strength, as he is always concerned about hurting someone. As powerful as he is, Vergon knows that he will never be recognized as a respected dragon by the elders, due to his need for close friendships, hearty laughter, and general dislike of stuffy stuck-up dragons. He has a partnership with several other mischievous dragons, and in the pranks that they play, his job is to cover them up with a thick fog in case they have to make a quick escape from a miffed victim.
