Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It glows with some form of arcane energy.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

FieryCitrine is a Magi Dragon hatchling with a lot of spunk. She spends her time pouncing at the Mints of her cave, attacking the Whites, splashing the Reds, and otherwise getting in trouble. One or both of her parents have give her a telepathic lecture at least once every day. She's constantly getting into scrapes with RoseQuartzNight, a rambunctious Pink hatchling, but the two are even worse when they are getting along. Together, they have tried to "raid" other caves, stolen many items (most of which have been returned) and will tease wild Vine Dragons. They like to stand just out of reach of these Dark Green Dragons, and mentally taunt them. If their parents knew about that last part, they would probably never let those two hatchlings be together again.
