Lumina Dragons received their names from their highly reflective scales, which—at times—seem to glow. They are vain, always strutting about and preening incessantly; if one of their scales has so much as a scratch or a defect, they’ll remove it. Luckily, their scales grow back quickly, and each new growth is more beautiful than the last. These narcissistic dragons live in small groups and prefer to surround themselves with beauty. The females guard their territory and eggs while the males search for vegetation to eat.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Garistu, much like Marisu, had an early role capture the hearts of audiences. His first starring role spawned not only hundreds of sequels, but also an outpouring of songs, stories, and poems from those who had greatly enjoyed the original play. While he is portrayed in these stories as incredibly handsome and absolutely perfect at everything he does, able to win hearts as he single-handedly saves the world, he receives a mere fraction of the scorn and criticism that Marisu does, though the wealth of fan-stories starring her portray her in a similarly idealized fashion. Unlike Marisu, who would quit and move to an isolated mountaintop somewhere if she thought that would let her make a fresh start, Garistu quite enjoys his exaggerated reputation (and has even written a few stories of his own, to great acclaim). The associated tales for Garistu are often just as dire as those for Marisu, so the difference in response from critics remains a mystery.
