Albino Dragons are so named because their translucent, scale-less skin lacks all pigment. Instead, to help protect their bodies from the sun, they are coated in an oily secretion that blocks the sun’s harmful rays. The call of an albino dragon is similar to a barn owl--a shriek instead of a roar.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. This cheery-eyed female has quite a good business sense--and everyone who comes into contact with her knows it. While many dragons are content to go about living their lives like wild beasts, she is far from one of them, and has set about securing herself a life of leisure... via catering to humans. Scooping up gobs of her sun-blocking oil and sealing the mixture in glass bottles, she swaps her product with burn-prone humans in return for food and the hottest new fashion accessories. The humans get to lie on the beach without frying, and she gets a good meal and a most fabulous pair of new glasses--it's a win-win situation for everyone!
