And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Seilira spends most of her time away from the cave, choosing to play with the human children rather than spend time with other dragons. Her favorite game is hide-and-seek, but the last time she played that with humans they had to send out the royal search party to find her. It took a week to uncover her position: an orange tree near where they started playing the game. She is a valuable asset on any Red Rover team.
