Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Solitary by nature, Vakarian spends most of his time on the borders of his mistress's territory, keeping to the mountains he loves and maintaining a watchful eye out for any trouble that may come from beyond the lands he calls home. Still, despite being a bit socially awkward, Vakarian feels it necessary to contribute the most he can to his large draconic family group, and will often bring prey down from the mountains to help feed the many mouths harbored in the valley below.
