Sunsong Amphipteres are an unusual breed. Due to light interference caused by their magical nature, they don’t seem to be affected by any ambient light source. However, when struck by direct sunlight, they shine a brilliant gold. They are playful and ever in flight; their ethereal and mysterious appearance and the fact that they are usually only seen at a distance have led many to believe they are a symbol of hope and good fortune.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Within the sanctuary of Fellfire, many dragons live in peace, with wide swathes of territory for each Drake or Drakka. They are also free to interact as they will, as long as no permanent damage is done.

Bornstellar Makes Eternal is one of the strangest members of the Fellfire. Whereas more then a few of the other Drakes and Drakka spend their time hunting or plotting, Eternal prefers to make puzzles. He often can be seen in the Desert, guiding weary travelers to hidden oases, or whispering words into the ears of those that sleep. His softly spoken ideas have sparked inspiration for many inventions, including a way to harness the element of Lightning, or gently susurrating the secrets of the unseen to those that listen. Some of his activities are looked upon with scorn, especially by Centennial Flames, who merely laughs at his subtle ways.
