Fire Gem Dragons are a colorful, flamboyant breed often found in hot climates, particularly around active volcanoes. Their broad tails store the flames they breathe, which are colored by the heavy amount of minerals in the water they drink. These dragons come in a variety of colors, and will collect shiny trinkets and stones that match their own coloration. Despite their hoarding tendencies, though, Fire Gem dragons are social and will often congregate in groups and show off their collections while fawning over the stones their friends and rivals have gathered, occasionally arranging trades.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Greensheer joined the Hellfire Circle when she was with her first mate, Caboose. She was the seventh member and approached them after she witnessed them successfully challenge a Leodon dragon for his prey with only a few minor wounds. This earned the pairing's respect, and the two arrived a little later after the victors' feast with gifts of precious stones to ask for acceptance. These were rejected by Demigon, unless, "You can bring any one of us to the ground," Greensheer had to prove her worth. She chose Mafiric, a Cassare dragon as her opponent, and despite being unable to use her magic imbued abilities, Greensheer won. She and her offerings were accepted, and Mafiric gave her a smile.

Caboose chose a one-eyed Seragamma Wyvern, Shrekcy, who proved to be leagues above him in experience. Caboose would've died if it wasn't for the call from Demigon to stop. Greensheer had a choice, her mate over the group. She took one last look at Caboose's broken body and said goodbye.
