Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Erisdar, being the largest female of the rook, is the hunt-lord of the cave. It is she that both leads the smaller adults on the hunt and instructs the younglings in its lessons. She is a sight to behold, with a wingspan nearly as large as the cave opening and gleaming red eyes. Though it her charge to partially oversee the education of hatchlings, she is, for the most part, rather impatient and somewhat irritable. Overall, Erisdar is a wizened, demanding hunter who holds anyone in her flight to a very high standard.
