Spitfires are a desert breed of dragon. Their dull brown bodies contrast with their brilliant turquoise markings, and they only blaze brighter when these dragons fight. Spitfires are notorious for their territorial natures, and the wing-edges of most are ripped and tattered before their first year is out. Spitfires are also noteworthy for their brilliant blue fire, which is used not for hunting or fighting, but rather for making glass caves from the sand, in which the dragons can soak up the sun.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Many dragons have treasured possessions. For some, it's a token of battle or product of a great amount of work. For others, it's a glimmering hoard. For Tinker, that possession is a parchment scrap that was left with her abandoned egg denoting the names of her parents. She decided to take the family name Z'Ra after the title that they shared.

She feels no ill-will over her abandonment, however, as good Mama Mentha took excellent care of her and her adopted nestmates. This care inspired her to claim a territory that was near the Cloudtouched Thicket, allowing her to visit Tenderheart and her hatchlings often. They absolutely adore Tinker's visits. True to her name, Tinker loves making things, specifically out of sand that she can turn to glass with her breath. She takes the bits and bobbles to the growing dragons of the Thicket, giving them curious marbles to chase and pretty orbs filled with melted metal shards that produce beautiful patterns on the ground when held up to the sun.
