Two-Finned Blunas are a very social breed of dragon, living in packs of dragons called “pods.” Blunas are very curious and playful creatures and several dragons in a pod will often “play” with one other, chasing each other around, tossing seaweed back and forth, and riding ocean swells. They are occasionally seen swimming alongside whales and dolphins.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Yarno and Afeilia are a mated pair, seemingly bound by destiny in a world rich in different species. Yarno enjoys leaping through the waves and playing with other dragons but wonders sometimes whether the great battle written by the ancient prophet would actually come to pass. Although deep in thought about the future, he ignores his feelings of dread and continues to enjoy his time spent with Afeilia and the other dragons who live in the world of Orcasia.
