Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Part of the Coch clan which lives deep in the valleys of Wales. Torry was one of first to arrive when she and Night Vines were abandoned as hatchlings and using their newly found strength, they soon found a place where they could finally call home. A human came along a few days later and after gaining their trust slowly, she became their owner. Torry is a big kid at heart, but she loves to battle and is a fearless fighter as is every black dragon. Torry can be very stubborn when she wants to and when she wants something done, she does it herself and doesn't rely on the other dragons in the clan. Torry loves to scour the woods at night and play on the water's edge, seeing her reflection in the water and rescuing small creatures who fall in and can't get back out again, making her a very respected dragon in Wales. Torry will sometimes leave for long periods of time, but she always comes back because she knows she has her family there, the people who love her.
