Their generally kind and cheerful nature ensures Ushgorn Dragons are welcome almost anywhere. However, they like to follow a strict daily routine, with rituals for everything from eating to hunting, and any deviation from their carefully laid plans irritates them. The more substantial the interruption, the greater their anger, sometimes to the point of involuntarily causing the water around them to boil as they lose their tenuous hold over their innate fire magic. Ushgorn Dragons are also quite meticulous when it comes to making promises. Anyone who breaks such an oath will find themselves suffering from a short bout of unexpected bad luck, though the Ushgorn Dragon will deny having anything to do with it. Ushgorn coloration is determined by incubation temperature; eggs that receive more warmth take on a golden brown hue.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Ithyil once had an ongoing feud with the Dragonhaven Island crabs, who seemed determined to disrupt his routines, but that came to an end the day he became so upset he made the water boil. If they had been normal crabs, he'd have keep boiling the water until he had dinner, but these crabs wore armor and carried urchin-spine spears. One last, large disruption in the form of a move was greatly preferable to accidentally killing something sapient. Besides, the pygmy dragons on the mainland made far more restful neighbors than the crab civilization did.
