The egg faded away completely; in its place there’s a cute baby dragon. It doesn’t seem to have much substance, though.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Innocently will never know what it is like to be an adult, for he is frozen forevermore as a lovely young dragon. He likes to travel across planes of dreams and the planes of reality seeking adventure and stories to tell all of the friends he makes through the realms he visits. He enjoys watching the moon and counting stars as he flies between realms, naming them all in his very unique dragon language. Innocently is as pure as stream waters that flow freely out of the top of the highest peaks.
