Daydream Dragons are the hosts of daydreams and fantasies. They spend the majority of their time sitting on clouds, dropping daydreams down into the minds of people passing by. Humans who live near Daydream Dragons must be especially careful not to let their thoughts wander, or they could end up spending hours or even days in a trance-like waking dream state.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Skie Cloud Blue is the Matriarch of the Moon Fantasy Clan. Sitting atop her cloud, Dragons must ask permission of Angelus Major, her Guardian, whether they are admitted to speak to her. She is a very wise dragon, but she often talks in riddles and is easily distracted by the daydreams she sometimes sends out. Only Angelus Major knows exactly what she's talking about since he knows her the best. If one could interpret her complicated speech though, they gain greater knowledge than if they she would merely tell them. There is a method to her madness, though it irritates some who are new to the Clan. She makes them listen to her, they truly open their ears and learn more because they have to figure it out for themselves. She also believes that impossibilities can become possible if you wish them hard enough, this is how she has gotten her Clan through many hardships. She is a peaceful leader and never declares War on any other Clan.
