White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Ioreth is a friendly dragoness who often hangs around the human settlements located on and around the lands of the clan. She spends her time healing humans, whose illnesses surpass the abilities of the human healers, and gently guiding them towards a better society. She has spent the last several human generations subtly dropping hints about a prophecy about the fact that the "true king" will be known by his "healing hands" for example.

She figures that humans are too young as a species to be mature enough for a more advanced type of society, but at least a healer would make a better king than some stupid knight, whose only qualification is the number of dragons he has slain.

It's a good thing Ioreth has the patience of a dragon.
