Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. ASiriusProtector is one of the protectors of the cave. When he was just an egg, StarNight found his glowing egg nestled behind some rocks. She quickly grabbed the egg and set off back to this cave. She let the egg grow. Often at night, the two other male blacks would come by the eggs and take the glowing black one out with them, one of them keeping the egg warm while the other told stories of battles in far off lands. Much to the surprise of StarNight, he hatched alt and grew up to be actually quite friendly to his cavemates, but fiercely protective against any threat. He is usually the first to be there if Robin Redbrest calls for help, ready to protect his cave.
