Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Teen Thunderdrum got his name for his reckless behavior. He quietly sneaks away from the hoard and flies into the clouds, where he charges large amounts of lightning. He lets the electricity loose, causing quite loud booms of thunder to echo the caves and landscape where he lives. The one who usually has to collect this troublemaker is the Thunder dragon, Sparkling Yin, who carefully collects the lightning Thunderdrum misuses.
