Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. The Hypertext Protocol is a green dragon. He is a very strange and hyperactive sort of fellow, and is often known as "Hyper" or "Pro" to his friends. While he isn't very sociable, he does spend quite a lot of time with a purple dragon named The Programmer, and the two are often seen around a strange rock that seems to glow and emit sounds. The two can sometimes be found at strange times of the day, experimenting with the rock and taking little string-like things and attaching them to different parts. Nobody really knows what the rock does, but apparently, sometimes it beeps or flashes colors. However, what the dragons do know is that when the rock displays a blue color with some sort of white text, The Programmer and The Hypertext Protocol scream in despair and terror and spend the next few days reviving the rock nonstop.
