As the nocturnal relative to Sunbeam Drakes, Moonglow Drakes are a secretive breed most active under the light of the moons and stars. They are wary of others, but are known to have incredible loyalty should their trust be won. Catching sight of Moonglow Drakes as they dance amid the moonlight is seen as a favorable omen by those they live near, and tamed individuals are common. They are slightly smaller than their cousins, averaging around the size of a cat.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

Chaste has a dainty, almost dignified sense to her. She's the antithesis of her equally prissy Sunbeam brother, Day Lily. Both have this pompous air to them, despite being rather tiny, unintelligent drakes. The two of them, in fact, are engaged in a bitter rivalry. They are known to argue incessantly when caught in the same room, chattering like enraged parrots over the most insignificant offenses. They can literally argue about anything, be it the time of day, the color of the sky, or which of them looks better in a hat. It is endless! It's probably why their parents are so insistent about keeping them apart. The further they stay away from each other, the better a time everyone else will have.
