Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Back in the days when mankind made a sport of hunting and slaughtering dragons, this Green Dragon lost her offspring. In her hurt and rage she flew to a mountain top, roaring and throwing huge boulders at the humans hiding in the woods with her offspring's dead body. The echo of her screams and the boulders crashing into their camp from nowhere made the survivors believe they had been haunted by a forest spirit. The tale later spoke of the Sylvan Wraith. Fleeing from her own sorrow, the young Green Dragon dropped her own name and took this as a reminder of what she had lost.
