Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Its skin is smooth and doesn’t seem to have any color to it.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

This little hatchling sits closely by the side of his owner. He's learned how to write by watching his owner closely, and dotingly aids her in keeping track of all of his kind. His owner does not give him a name due to him not liking any of them. He loves to get little scratches around his jaw and belly after he's done a good job of counting all of the other albinos his owner keeps.
