Albino Dragons are so named because their translucent, scale-less skin lacks all pigment. Instead, to help protect their bodies from the sun, they are coated in an oily secretion that blocks the sun’s harmful rays. The call of an albino dragon is similar to a barn owl--a shriek instead of a roar.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Wapatoe is the oldest dragon raised by jadeliller. As such, she has taken to guiding any more young hatchlings raised by her. She is one of the five dragons that jadeliller's dragons come to for help, advice, or training. Wapatoe is a very sarcastic creature and takes joy from putting strangers or visitors in their place if they approach the hatchlings she has guard over. One of her favorite methods is sending the older hatchlings after the offender; this usually results in the visitor being covered in scratches and Wapatoe rumbling in amusement.

Despite her sarcastic tendencies, she truly only wants the best for those around her. She often goes out of her way to help others, while letting others believe her to only help those she guards.

Her favorite foods are rhubarb and salmon.
