Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Its eyes glow brightly at night, and it enjoys attacking insects and small animals.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Ever since she learned of their existence, Moonlit Cynder has been trying to prove that chickens are from outer space. She often asks how chickens can even exist, if they have been proven to need fertilization to be laid; without it, the egg would not be able to develop into a biotic organism. The only conclusion she can draw is that they are sent from outer space, as no males have been found on Earth. Moonlit Cynder constantly chases after both McDonald's and her little sister, McDonald's McNugget, to force them into admitting their alien ways. The only response she ever gets is a complex series of clucks and head-jerks, which she plans to use to prove to the other dragons the evil inside of their microscopic bird brains. Sadly, the other dragons in her clan simply chuckle at the sound of her childish tales, and the hatchlings scoff and insult her. Despite their teasing, she is determined to prove herself correct. There must be some reason why the chickens infiltrated the dragons!
