Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Raven is a cold, seemingly cruel dragon. He cares little, if at all, for anyone other than himself (and Shadow, but that's another story), and is rude and, at best, indifferent toward them. He is a vicious fighter and has a fondness for calling up bitingly cold blizzards mixed with deadly lightning bolts in battle.<br/>He and Shadow are the best of friends, though Raven is still rude to her, at times, and seemingly uncaring toward her, at others. Their relationship, in all its complexity, is impossible to describe with mere words.<br/>On another note, Raven inherited his mother's ferocious and unforgiving temper, and Raven doesn't know the meaning of mercy, meaning he almost always fights to kill. It's best to stay out of Raven's way. For safety's sake, if nothing else.
