Pink Dragons are primarily herbivores and only eat meat during the mating season, when mates will exchange kills. When it is not breeding season, pink dragons spend most of their time incubating eggs and caring for their clan’s young. Due to their feminine color, it was traditionally thought that pink dragons were a strictly female breed, but this is not true.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Rather unusual for a pink dragon- and a female one at that- Calvin has never been good with keeping an eye on the eggs and hatchlings of the cave. When other pinks would gravitate towards helping nesting mothers keep their eggs clean, the dull-scaled pink could usually be found studying with Magis, or even around human scholars. Her favorite things to study were the enchanted suits of armor, used to create tireless workers. As time wore on, they were imbued with more and more personality, even the ability to speak. Calvin found herself fascinated by the personalities and mental workings of the metal creations, and has dedicated her life to analyzing them, showing more love towards them than she would show any living being.
