White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Iakona Mehr, a white dragon by looks and by heart, is a distant relative of Raphael's. Raphael is the legendary Archangel Throne, but also the greatest Angel of Healing to have ever existed.

Like his inheritance, Iakona commands power not by acting it out, but by guarding his fellow drakes and healing them any time the situation looks rough. He works closely with Luna Mehr in defending the entire herd, though he stays on the sidelines chanting magical spells to soothe the wounds.

Iakona enjoys relaxing in any kind of weather, so long as he isn't called to be overactive in any situation. He is very laid-back and easygoing--but not afraid to stand up for his beliefs.
