Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Male Silvers hunt and eat meat. While not as beautiful or radiant as females, silver males possess better physical attributes, such as strength.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Nanahu, like all of the tribe's silver dragons, lives on the island of Molehu. He received his name like all other silvers: as a hatchling, his looks, personality, and actions were inspected by the elders and then summed up in a word in Hawaiian. For him, it was Nanahu. His name means "charcoal".

Nanahu was always affected by the cold nights and the chilly winters more than the other silver dragons. His toes always lost their feeling and shivers would rattle his scales so badly they would clack together and startle birds away. As a hatchling, Nanahu had to huddle in small campfires or cuddle near a lava dragon to keep warm. As he got older and his scales got tougher, he could actually relax inside a volcano. Of course, all this exposure to fire, smoke, and lava stained his scales a permanent smoky black. It changed his appearance so much that he is occasionally mistaken for a very large curled black hatchling.
