Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Animos is very young, barely an adult and while his love is flying and having fun; his friend is Volaire Davain, but she is actually in love with him, a fact that Animos hasn't noticed yet.  Often to get some peace, Animos will go alone past Aurora's heart ridge and fly, dance, and talk to himself and reveals an unafraid personal nature, suspecting no one is around, when in reality, sometimes Volaire is watching, she is surprised at some of the things she sees, seeing him with no one around that he knows of, he's revealed a very noble, kind-hearted part of him that's forgiving, peaceful and happy.  He's always been good and happy around others but he doesn't like to show too much of it for the fear of appearing fake or "too good" or "snobby".  To the contrary Volaire feels he is just modest and wishes he'd show everyone what he's really made of.
