Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Christmas Golden Silkywing is a dainty dragon much like many of her kind. And, like all the Christmas dragons she usually appears around December and stays until New Year's Eve and may stay a bit longer after. She also comes to the clan meetings that may pop up unexpectedly or has been long planned. Those are usually important clan matters and all must hear. She loves Christmastime and can create many gifts for the young dragons or the hatchlings or shower the eggs with special objects that will be given to the young once they hatch. She works with the other holiday dragons but extremely closely with the other Christmas dragons. She can rarely be found during the rest of the year, preferring to hide away in places that reminds her of Christmas snows such as the mountains. If somebody happens to find her, they will usually hear her softly creating poetry or stories to tell to hatchlings and adults at Christmas.
