Copper Dragons are masters of stealth, slipping silently and swiftly through the forests and jungles where they live. Often hunting in groups, their prey rarely know they are being stalked until the dragon’s at their throat. In the air they are agile and skilled. Copper Dragons prize family groups, spending large amounts of time teaching their young skills. So great is their love of life and family that they will sometimes adopt orphaned dragons of other breeds to raise.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Bronzechipper's cheerful outlook on life brings warmth to her Weyr, to her clan of Copper dragons, and to her mate, Copperstalk. Her happiest moments, like those of the other Copper dragons who make up her extended, chosen "family," come when she is with all of their clan, from the six adults to their hatchlings, raised by the group and loved by each "parent" they have.

Bronzechipper's primary trait might be said to be her sheer amount of sunshiny optimism. Very little can ever get her down for long, and the things which can are often tracked down and strongly encouraged to cut that out by her brooding mate, Copperstalk. Those occasions are few, though, and mostly she spends her days as a bright, peppy, and, when hunting, cheerfully violent dragon. She doesn't need much defending in part because, though she'd never say it and he'd never admit it, she's really a fair bit, well, tougher than Copperstalk. For example, she lacks his phobia of certain small, cloven-hoofed prey animals.
