Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

The most quiet of the Jingle Lads, a group of dragons who sacrifice naughty dragons in order to protect their village from a terrifying monster. Hol doesn't speak too often and, even when she does, speaks in a meek, breathy voice. She's a beautiful singer though, not as great as Lit or Son (but they're a Starsinger and Wintertide, so that's a given), but she's very good. She definitely feels more comfortable when she sings with a group, maybe because the other lads' voices mix so well and blend with hers. She doesn't feel too comfortable when she's alone, singing or otherwise. Hol likes to have a group to blend into, otherwise she feels exposed and vulnerable.
